ROOTED IN COMMUNITY
Compassion connects us. Community guides us.
Compassion for Charity and Nurture Foundation (CCNF) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the safety, health, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable populations. CCNF has existed since 2017 under the name and style of CCN Humanitarian Project, until it updated its legal status in 2026.
CCNF works through integrated, community-driven programming across five core thematic areas: Protection; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Nutrition; Health; and Climate Change Resilience. Interfaith Collaboration supports peaceful coexistence across its programming.
To provide compassionate, community-driven interventions in protection, WASH, nutrition, health and climate resilience that restore dignity, save lives and build lasting resilience among vulnerable populations, especially women, children and marginalized communities.
OUR VISION
Dignity. Safety. Resilience.
A world where every vulnerable child, woman, and family lives with dignity, safety, good health, and resilience against the effects of a changing climate.
OUR CORE PROGRAMMES
Working together for lasting change.
Integrated, community-driven support shaped around people’s needs.
Safeguarding children, women and vulnerable groups from abuse, exploitation, neglect and violence through community-based protection committees, case management and safeguarding training. GBV awareness and prevention sit within our Protection programme.
Improving access to safe drinking water, adequate sanitation and sustainable hygiene practices through infrastructure development, WASH committees and behaviour-change communication.
Reducing malnutrition among children under five and pregnant and lactating women through screening, Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), and infant and young child feeding (IYCF) promotion.
Strengthening access to quality primary healthcare through facility support, community health worker training and maternal and child health programming.
CCNF's three-year strategic plan targets strengthening the safety, health, nutritional status and climate resilience of 20,000 vulnerable individuals through integrated programming across all five thematic areas, underpinned by strong governance, diversified funding and a clear sustainability and exit strategy.
This is a strategic target for 2027–2029, not a count of people already reached.
